Bloggers' Rules and Policies

Blog Requirements and Rules

1. You are required to register the correct URL where your blog is located (including sub-domains or directories). If your blog is located on http://www.domain.com/blog/, for instance, we will not accept http://www.domain.com as a valid URL. If you submitted the wrong URL upon registration just file a support ticket and we will fix it.
2. Your blog must be at least 3-months-old, and must be cached/indexed in the major search engines including Google.
3. Your blog must contain at least 10 posts of real content in order to be approved.
4. Your blog must have, and maintain, at least a 2:1 ratio of non-paid to paid content. The ratio is calculated on a monthly average.
5. Having more then one blog on a domain is not permitted. For example, if you have a domain http://www.domain.com which has a blog located at http://www.mydomain.com/blog, you cannot have another blog in our system located at www.domain.com/blog2 .
6. If you are using a free hosted blogging platform (e.g., Blogger or Wordpress.com) you are allowed have more than one blog, as long as the content is different. This goes for any free blog host that provides sub-domains (e.g., http://subdomain.blogspot.com). This exception does not cover free hosting platforms that use directories ( http://www.domain.com/directory/). In this case the one blog per domain rule shall apply.
7. You are not allowed to display review prices on your blog (either direct reviews or via third party networks) that are more than 25% lower than the prices you have listed on our system. This rule needed is to avoid people lurking advertisers.
8. We reserve the right to reject blogs that contain too much visual clutter. You are free to use ads, banners and badges, but if they overwhelm the content itself we might suspend your blog (this refers to extreme cases, most blogs are not affected by this rule).

Review Level Rules

1. Reviews must be archived permanently like the other posts on your blog. You are not allowed to remove them. In addition your blog must have links to your archived posts on the homepage. This can be in the form of a category list or a calendar which links to pages that then link to your past posts. All links and text must remain unchanged. If we find out that you are removing reviews or links your account will be suspended and we may withhold future earnings.
2. All Reviews must be honest and professional. We will not accept reviews where the blogger has lied or made up stories about a product. Advertisers do not expect dishonest reviews and neither do we. If you find an advertiser asking you to be dishonest please report it to Support.
3. All reviews must be written in English, unless otherwise specified by the advertisers. Your posts must be spell checked and not contain an excessive amount of grammar errors. You are allowed to include some text in another language, in order to best serve your audience, but the majority of the review must be in English.
4. The review must be focused on the advertiser or its products. You are free to include other relevant information, but you can not include the review inside a generic post on your blog. In addition, you must only link to the advertisers site, unless otherwise requested
5. All reviews must appear on the Homepage of your blog and the date must be the same as the day you submit the completed review URL to us. The review must remain on the homepage for at least 24 hours. If you use post excerpts on the Homepage, at least 50 words and one link to the advertiser must appear in the excerpt.
6. You are not allowed to use a no-follow tag on the links to the advertisers, unless requested by the advertiser.
7. You are not allowed to advertise your own paid post or review service inside of a review written for sponsoredreviews.com
8. All reviews must contain unique content. You are not allowed to copy a review from another site or to use public domain or copyrighted material on your review.
9. Rude, insulting, or hateful comments will not be tolerated. You can offer constructive criticism, but your views must be presented in a polite and clean fashion.
10. Reviews must not be orphaned on your site. In other words there must be links to the review via an archive page etc.. If the review can not be reached via links on your site it is not valid.
11. Reviews cannot contain in-text advertising (e.g., Kontera) or sponsored links other than those of the advertiser, unless otherwise specified by the advertiser. Advertisers do not want to see links competing for clicks on the review that they are paying for.

MarketPlace and Bidding Rules

1. Read carefully the opportunity requirements before placing a bid. Some advertisers require a minimum Pagerank, for instance. Bloggers that are found bidding for opportunities that they do not qualify for might get their accounts suspended.
2. Pay attention to the minimum number of words required and the review type. Completed reviews that do not meet these guidelines will not be accepted.
3. If you have multiple blogs you can bid on opportunities with as many blogs as you like, just remember that each review must be unique and not duplicated.

Removing Underline on Link

I got email again after I make a posting Do Your Blog Load Very Slow, he asks how to remove underline on each link.He thing this is less interesting for any posts. Indeed, as the words of me, other people wish to have business links that are like the underline, and there also does not like that underline.

Generally underline will have on the standard template,if you want to underline can be removed.How to remove the underline on links? you should to change some code in the CSS Style Sheet, usually code like this:

a:link {
color:#58a;
text-decoration:underline;
}

a:hover {
color:#c60;
text-decoration:underline;
}

a:visited {
color:#969;
text-decoration:underline;
}

If we do not want the bottom line on a link, then we just simply change the word none, later code will be like this:

text-decoration: none;

That's it....this is simple???So what do you thing?? If have any question and problem with your blog layout don't be shy to leave your COMMENT....thank's

Do Your Blog Load Very Slow

This is a frequently problem for many blogger, why does blog load very slowly? Why does other blog load faster? These are general problem and not funny. You may not laugh at those who do not know and understand.

The owners of the blogs and webs must pay attention to the speed of their blog or web. It is very important and can influence to the amount of the traffic and visit. The blog or web that is hard to be accessed, will make the visitors annoyed and cancel their visit to the blog and never come back.

What factors can make our blog load very slowly? Below are the factors that make your blog load very slowly

* Flash File (swf)

Flash File (swf) is a very slow file to load, therefore do not install too many flash files in front page of your blog. Can we install Flash File in blogger? Of course, but we do not upload it directly to blogger but another server then using some fixed codes to display it on blog page.

* Java Script

We acknowledge that with Java Script we can create many interesting effects or functions for our blog, both your own creations and the free ones from the internet. Do you know that Java Script is so slow to load? Therefore, if you installed many Java Script files to your blog, the result is your blog will be very slow on loading and your visitors will leave your blog.

* Image

Installing many images or less installing the large size images will burden your blog; install the appropriate and normal size images. Use a tool that can compress your image so that your images will be smaller files. Installing the widget like widgets of follower, mybloglog and others will make your blog slow on loading. Installing banners is one example that can make blog slow on loading.

* Blog Template

Selecting the template will influence too, many templates that consist of images as the background or installing the very large CSS, so that it is very slow to be used.

* Displaying many posts

Displaying many posts in front page can be the one that make your blog slow on loading. To overcome this, set it to enough amounts.

There are still many other factors that can make your blog slow on loading. How to overcome this? You should be wise to choose and select which ones should be installed on your blog. Don’t apply all the guides on the internet, select what you feel them necessary to use......

Create A Background For Your Site

Several times ago, our comrade "HARD TO KILL" ask how to change the blog background, and of course I will try explained. I think, there are two possibilities to change the background the first is to replace only the color background (background) only, the second is the blog by using the background image or image.

There is one thing that I consider important when comrade intend to change background (background), when you change the background color or image do not make our posts a little hard to read on. If the text using dark color, then choose the color or image of light, but rather when the text is colored light, the image should be black-colored background.The text that is difficult to read in by visitors, will make visitors lazy to read the articles we write, and of course useless to post the article if we do not want to have a read.OK, even though the page does not directly seize the main topics are . Because the template code is very varied, which I will make an example is the original template blogger template is minima.

Changing the Background Color

1. Sign in
2. Click the Template
3. Click the Edit HTML
4. Copy all kede template, paste in notepad ago to save the backup data

Change color code template with the original color code $bgcolor:

body {
background:$bgcolor;
margin:0;
padding:40px 20px;
font:x-small Georgia,Serif;
text-align:center;
color:#333;
font-size/* */:/**/small;
font-size: /**/small;
}

1. Click the Preview button to see changes
2. If you are OK, click Save Template Changes
3. Done

Changing Background With Image

The first thing, of course, you must have an image file, you can made it on Photoshop. This image can be a normal picture, photos, and even animation. the second is a site to upload them to save the image "http://www.imagesack.com", if you get the picture link, add code like this:

background:$bgcolor url(your link);

1. Click the Preview button to see changes
2. If you are OK, click Save Template Changes
3. Done.

I think this is very easy to do, because not a lot of code that had been added, for example the result is this blog, so have to try!

How To Make 3 Column Layout

Hey Man, well I wanted to ask you one thing finding precise, I have seen 2 blog templates with simple but very good for aesthetics, to my taste very good, in 2 blog can be seen the same structure but with a clear header a different color base different and a different background, I think the blog is 2 "Straight To Hill" and "The Last Disaster" Well I like the structure of the blog set up like that and my question is that if the template is available so if I change the main color of the blog, clearly the background and the header and the titles are complementary but the gadgets ... but I would like to take this structure as the font, the 3 columns in general that, look for some people attach the template and you gave me if you can help me there.

Is an example email from some friends asking how to edit the layout to 3 columns, and what he says is correct, structure on this blog is the same as the T.L.D, because i take the idea from there ..... he he he he he! SORYY T.L.D but I Like You So Much

So now on this tutorial we will be discussed how to make 3 column layout, in just a few steps you can make it

Step 1:

Before changing anything, make sure to backup the original template. After login, click on the Blogger Dashboard Layout> Template> Edit HTML. Click on any posts on the "Download Full Template" to save the backup file in the template .Xml on your computer.

Now directed attention to the script of the CSS box. Scroll down to view the script until you find the following codes:

#outer-wrapper {
width: 660px;
margin:0 auto;
padding:10px;
text-align:left;
font: normal normal 100% 'Trebuchet MS',Trebuchet,Verdana,Sans-serif;
}

#main-wrapper {
width: 410px;
float: left;
word-wrap: break-word; /* fix for long text breaking sidebar float in IE */
overflow: hidden; /* fix for long non-text content breaking IE sidebar float */
}

#sidebar-wrapper {
width: 220px;
float: right;
word-wrap: break-word; /* fix for long text breaking sidebar float in IE */
overflow: hidden; /* fix for long non-text content breaking IE sidebar float */
}

Step 2:

Then change the script with this script,

#outer-wrapper {
width: 900px;
margin: 0 auto;
padding: 10px 0px;
text-align: left;
font: normal normal 87% Georgia, Times, serif;
}

#main-wrapper {
width: 410px;
margin: 0 10px 0;
}

#left-sidebar-wrapper, #right-sidebar-wrapper {
width: 200px;
}

#main-wrapper, #left-sidebar-wrapper, #right-sidebar-wrapper {
border: 1px solid #000000;
word-wrap: break-word; /* fix for long text breaking sidebar float in IE */
overflow: hidden; /* fix for long non-text content breaking IE sidebar float */
}

#left-sidebar-wrapper, #main-wrapper {
float: left;
}

#right-sidebar-wrapper {
float: right;
}

.crosscol {
text-align: center;
margin: 10px;
}

Step 3:

Do not forget to change the width of the header and footer to be 900px;

On header:

#header-wrapper {
width:660px;
margin:0 auto 10px;
border:1px solid #333333;
}

to be replaced with:

#header-wrapper {
width:900px;
margin:0 auto 10px;
border:1px solid #333333;
}

if you want to measure the height header bigger, you can add

heigth:700px; under width:900px;

On footer:

#footer {
width:660px;
clear:both;
margin:0 auto;
padding-top:15px;
line-height: 1.6em;
text-transform:uppercase;
letter-spacing:.1em;
text-align: center;
}

to be replaced with:

#footer {
width:900px;
clear:both;
margin:0 auto;
padding-top:15px;
line-height: 1.6em;
text-transform:uppercase;
letter-spacing:.1em;
text-align: center;
}

step 4

save the changes and see your blog

How To Create "READ MORE"

The Quick Answer

  • Add tags to your posts to mark which parts you want hidden in the summary version.
  • Add CSS declarations to your template to hide those sections on the index and archive pages, but not on post pages.

With this trick, you can choose to display an arbitrary amount of text from the beginning of each post, as a teaser for the whole thing. Then users who want to read the rest of the post can click a link to see the full text. This is handy if you have lots of long articles all on one page. Note that you'll need to have post pages enabled in order to make this feature work.

There are three ingredients that go into this feature: conditional CSS, a "read more" link for each post, and a modification for the posts that use this feature. So let's go through it step by step.

Conditional CSS

We're going to use conditional tags to change how posts display on different pages. Add the following code to your style sheet, depending on what kind of template you have:

(for classic templates)

<MainOrArchivePage>
span.fullpost {display:none;}
</MainOrArchivePage>

<ItemPage>
span.fullpost {display:inline;}
</ItemPage>

(for layouts)

<b:if cond='data:blog.pageType == "item"'>
span.fullpost {display:inline;}
<b:else/>
span.fullpost {display:none;}
</b:if>

"Read More"

Add the following code to your template, somewhere after the <$BlogItemBody$> or <data:post.body/> tag:

(for classic templates)

<MainOrArchivePage><br />
<a href="<$BlogItemPermalinkURL$>">Read more!</a>
</MainOrArchivePage>

(for layouts)

<b:if cond='data:blog.pageType != "item"'><br />
<a expr:href='data:post.url'>Read more!</a>
</b:if>

This link will only appear on the main page and archive pages, and it will redirect your reader to the post page containing the full text of your post. You can replace the "Read more!" text with whatever you like, of course.

Post Modifications

The final piece that we need is a little bit of code in your actual post. Each post that you want to use this feature on will need this code:

<span class="fullpost"></span>

This part can actually go in the post template, if you don't want to have to type it for each post. You'll enter the summary text outside the span tags and the remainder inside, like so:

Here is the beginning of my post. <span class="fullpost">And here is the rest of it.</span>

And then go to create new post and see the results

How To Make Refresh Efect

Refresh function is used to make "refresh" back page blog or website. This refresh function is the same as the refresh function in the Internet browser, the difference is a function in this work automatically, ie the user does not need to press the refresh button on the tool bar.

Enough to make it with only embody the program below:

<meta http-equiv="refresh" content="10">

For a classic template with just the code above, but for the new template should use the closing tag </meta>, so the code as below:

<meta http-equiv="refresh" content="10"></meta>

Save the above code between <head> ............... </head>

Slightly above the code description, content = "10" -> figure shows that ten akan refresh process is done in the range of 10 seconds. So this number should be set in too quickly because it can cause irritation to the reader when the refresh is too fast.

Refresh function other than to refresh the page re-blog page, there are other functions that also is quite interesting, ie, functions as one of the Redirect URL addres URL addres to the other. This works if you want to bring visitors to your blog or site to site address you want. To be clear, I take one example. I have long in blogging, and after so long and then he created a new site. So the old blog did not want to switch on again (in the non-switch). Well than how to leave a message that the site or blog has been moved, would that we use the Refresh function in the setting as soon as the refresh time on the set 0 (zero) seconds. So when there is a visitor who visits the blog address will be automatically brought in directly to the new address in want.

Function Redirect can be made with the code:

<meta http-equiv="refresh" content="0;URL=type your URL here "></meta>
